Exporting and download tiers

Use Share to create a public link to your film's watch page. This is a clean, Netflix-style playback page — your audience just watches; they never see the editor or your project. Turn on the public link, then copy it and send it anywhere.

• The watch page is read-only, so sharing it is safe: viewers can play the film but can't change anything.
• Add an optional password if you want to keep it semi-private — only people with the password can open the page.
• Toggle the public link back off at any time to take the film offline again.

The Download panel has two parts. The first is your screenplay: press Prepare and runime builds a formatted PDF of the script on the server, then hands you a Download button when it's ready.

If you change the story later, use Redo to rebuild the PDF from the current version. This is a document export — it's separate from the film file itself.

The second part is the film. runime stitches every scene together into a single MP4 you can download and share offline. By default this is 720p (Standard) — the resolution your film is generated at — and it's the fastest, cheapest option.

The token price for your chosen download is always shown before you confirm, so there are no surprises. Press Create to start, and the finished file appears with a Download button.

Under Resolution you can pick 1080p (HD) or 4K (Ultra) instead of the resolution your film was rendered at. This is real AI super-resolution — the model reconstructs detail instead of stretching pixels — and it does make the picture look sharper. Be clear about what it is, though: it is an enlargement of the render, not a master shot at that resolution. A 4K download from a 720p film is a 3× AI upscale, and the file itself says so in its metadata. It is a consumer delivery, not a theatrical master.

When you pick an upscale, a few extra choices appear:

• Engine: Value is fast and looks great for most films; Cinematic Pro aims for reference quality and takes longer.
• Cinematic grade: adds film grain and a colour pass for a more filmic look.
• Smooth motion: interpolates the film to 60fps for smoother movement.

Each option adds to the price, and the total scales with your film's length. The full cost is shown before you start.

Below the picture options there's a Delivery section. These are the things a festival, a broadcaster or a post house asks for on top of the film itself, and they are what decides whether your film can be accepted:

• Subtitles (.srt + .vtt) — transcribed from the film's own dialogue, timed to the cut, and delivered as separate files beside the MP4. The panel tells you how many cues came out.
• Speaker names in subtitles — each line prefixed with who says it, which is what a broadcaster's accessibility spec usually wants.
• Separate audio stems (dialogue + M&E) — two extra audio files: your dialogue on its own, and Music & Effects on its own. This is what a dubbing house needs to replace the dialogue in another language, and what a mixer needs to re-balance the film.
• Broadcast loudness (EBU R128, −23 LUFS) — the mix conformed to the level a channel's QC requires, delivered with the measured loudness report (integrated, true peak, loudness range) so you can paste the numbers into a delivery form.

Each of these is rendered as its own master, so the first time you pick one it is produced and charged; after that, re-downloading that exact combination is free.

You don't have to ask for this and it isn't an add-on: every film runime exports carries two audio tracks. The first is the stereo mix and stays the default, so an ordinary player, a phone or a browser behaves exactly as before. The second is a genuine 5.1 surround track — the sounds in your film are placed around the listener and the rear channels are decorrelated and delayed, rather than being a quieter copy of the front ones.

A surround-capable player (a TV, a media player, a cinema chain) will list both and let the audience pick. If the surround encode fails for any reason the film still ships, stereo-only — you get the picture either way.

Larger exports — especially long films at 4K — can take a while, so they run in the background. You can close the panel or even the browser and come back; the panel shows live progress, how many tokens you've spent, an estimate, and a rough time remaining.

• Stop any time. Finished clips are kept, so you can Resume later without paying for them again.
• If you run out of tokens mid-export it pauses instead of failing — top up and it continues right where it left off.
• Every tier is remembered. Once you've made, say, the 4K cinematic version of a film, re-downloading that exact version is free. Changing the film or any download setting simply re-renders the new version.
