Parties and subject of the agreement
These Terms of Service (the “Agreement”) are entered into between IS.TEAM LLC (Delaware, United States; file number 10536716, registered office 8 The Green, Ste A, Dover, DE 19901), which provides the AI film-creation service (the “Service”) under the runime brand at runime.com and any applications offered in the future, and the natural or legal person who uses the Service (the “User” / “you”).
You accept this Agreement the moment you start using the Service. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the Service.
Paid subscriptions and token packages are sold by Stripe, Inc. acting as Merchant of Record; the payment side of the sales contract is formed with Stripe, and the seller shown on your statement is Stripe. In all cases IS.TEAM LLC remains the content and technical provider of the Service and is bound by the obligations in this Agreement.
Description of the service
runime is a creation tool that produces animation and video film with artificial intelligence. You write a script, story or idea; runime breaks it into scenes and turns it into a short or feature-length film by generating the imagery, audio and video. The Service mainly covers:
- AI generation of a screenplay / scene flow from a script, story or idea.
- Creation of the scene plan, storyboard, and character and location imagery (stills).
- Generation of video clips from the scenes and editing of the transitions between clips.
- Dialogue voice-over, film score, sound effects, and voicing in your own voice (voice changing / STS).
- Export of the finished film as a single MP4 file.
The Service works through a production pipeline that brings together several third-party AI models (text, image, video and audio). The Service is provided “as is”; which models are in use and the quality of the output may change from time to time (see Disclaimers).
Membership and account
- An account is opened using Sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping the information you provide accurate and up to date.
- You must be at least 13 years oldto open an account. Users aged 13–18 must use the Service with the knowledge and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. To take out a paid subscription or buy tokens you must be at least 18 years old.
- You are responsible for the security of your account and your sign-in credentials. If you notice unauthorised use of your account, you must notify us immediately at support@runime.com.
- An account may be used by one person only; it may not be sold, rented or transferred.
Acceptable use
When using the Service, you must not:
- Produce or distribute content that breaches applicable law — including criminal law, data-protection law and internet-publication law — or produce films, images or audio that involve child abuse, incite terrorism or violence, contain hate speech, or are otherwise plainly unlawful.
- Produce content that uses a copyrighted character, brand or logo belonging to someone else, or a real person’s face / likeness without permission; or create unauthorised deepfakes or unauthorised likenesses.
- Use the Service with automated tools (bots, scrapers, harvesting services); attempt to reverse-engineer the Service or its models; or try to circumvent rate or quota limits.
- Place an excessive load on the infrastructure (DDoS, brute force, fuzzing) or otherwise prevent others from using the Service safely.
- Upload, process or distribute the personal data of third parties without their consent.
- Reproduce the Service’s brand, code or production pipeline without permission, or use it to develop a competing product or to train a competing model.
If these rules are breached, we may suspend your account and terminate your paid subscription with prior notice (see Suspension and account closure). You can report infringing content to support@runime.com.
Notice about AI outputs
AI outputs are an aid; there is no guarantee of perfection. The imagery, video and audio generated by runime are machine outputs that support your creative process, and there is no promise that they will be perfect, error-free, or an exact match to your request.
- Generated content may contain visual artefacts, anatomical errors, character or scene inconsistencies, incorrect text, or unexpected interpretations. AI models are not deterministic; the same instruction may produce a different result each time.
- For publication, commercial use, advertising, or any use with legal consequences, it is your responsibility to verify that the generated content is suitable, accurate, and does not infringe the rights of third parties.
- IS.TEAM LLC does not guarantee that the outputs will reach a particular quality, likeness or level of perfection, and cannot be held responsible for the consequences of decisions made in reliance on those outputs.
An output that has in fact been generated but that you dislike or that does not meet your expectations is not, on its own, a reason for a refund or money back; see the Disclaimers and Cancellation / refund sections for detail.
User content and licence
Every kind of input you upload or write to the Service — scripts, stories, reference images, voice recordings and the like — is referred to as “User Content”. Your rights in your User Content remain yours; this Agreement does not transfer ownership to us.
So that the Service can function, you grant IS.TEAM LLC a limited, worldwide, royalty-free and sublicensable licence to use your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. Under this licence we may:
- store, retain and display your User Content back to you on your behalf;
- pass it as system context to the third-party AI models needed to produce your film;
- display content that you explicitly choose to share (a share link, a public preview) within that scope.
runime does not use the script you upload, the film you produce, or your User Content to train its own AI models. The third-party model providers used for generation likewise do not use these inputs for model training, under their enterprise (API) terms. This is a commitment of trust we give you.
Intellectual property
The right to use the film, scene imagery and audio assets you produce belongs to you, to the extent permitted by applicable law. You may use them for personal or commercial purposes (subject to the Acceptable use rules above).
The copyright-protection status of AI-generated content varies from country to country; in some legal systems purely machine-generated outputs may not qualify for copyright protection. This is your responsibility, and IS.TEAM LLC does not guarantee that you acquire exclusive copyright in the output. Because AI models may generate similar or identical results for different users, we also do not guarantee that your outputs are unique.
The runime brand, logo, interface, source code, production pipeline, model routing and prompt engineering belong to IS.TEAM LLC or to its third-party licensors and may not be copied without permission. The terms of use of the third-party model providers involved in generation also apply to the output.
Paid plans and billing
runime runs on a token-based model: each generation operation (script, image, video, audio) consumes a certain amount of tokens. Tokens are supplied within a subscription or as an add-on package. Current prices and token allowances are listed on the relevant page inside the app.
- Payment is collected by Stripe, Inc. acting as Merchant of Record. VAT / global sales tax is declared and paid directly by Stripe; your invoice or receipt is sent to you by email.
- Your card details are processed directly by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1) and are not stored on IS.TEAM LLC servers.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the period. A reminder is sent by email 24 hours before the renewal date; if you do not want to renew, you can cancel before then.
- If payment cannot be taken, the subscription enters a “past_due” state; if the payment method is not updated within 7 days, the subscription is automatically downgraded to the free / basic tier.
Right of withdrawal (digital content)
Important — the digital-content withdrawal exception.Under Turkey’s Distance Contracts Regulation art.15/1-(g), contracts for “services performed instantly in the electronic environment, or intangible goods delivered instantly to the consumer” are among the contracts for which the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised. The content produced by runime and the tokens consumed are intangible digital services within this scope.
The right of withdrawal is deemed to have been used the moment you start your first generation (script, image, audio or video). Starting a generation means the token is consumed instantly and the service is performed instantly; from that moment the right of withdrawal for that operation ends.
Good-faith refund. Notwithstanding the above, if within 7 days of your first purchase you have not used any paid feature of the Service (you have started no generation / spent no tokens), we will consider your refund request if you contact support@runime.com.
Cancellation, renewal and plan changes
- You can cancel your subscription from your account with a single click. After cancellation, your plan’s features and the tokens allocated for that period remain available until the end of the current billing period.
- Cancellation stops automatic renewal, and no further charge is taken for the next period.
- No partial refund is made after cancellation; there is no refund for the remainder of the paid period (the good-faith refund case in the Right of withdrawal section is reserved).
- Consumed tokens are not refunded.Tokens spent when a generation is started are not restored whether or not you liked the output (except only in the case of a system / model error — see Disclaimers).
- Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current period.
Suspension and account closure
We may suspend or close your account by written notice (including email) in the following cases:
- Breach of the Acceptable use rules or of applicable law (with immediate effect where necessary).
- Repeated failed payments or persistent suspicious activity (past_due lasting longer than 7 days).
- Free accounts that have been inactive for more than a year may be closed on 30 days’ prior notice.
- A decision of a competent authority, or an urgent requirement of public safety.
You may close your account at any time, at your own choice. After your account is closed, your personal data is deleted or anonymised within the periods stated in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We give no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, of uninterrupted operation, or of any particular output quality.
- An output that has in fact been generated but that is faulty, flawed or disliked is not, on its own, a reason for a refund or money back. By the nature of AI, repeated attempts may give a different result; the fact that you dislike the result does not mean the generation did not take place.
- Only where a generation cannot be completed because of a system or model error (where no output is produced at all) are the tokens spent on that operation automatically refunded.
- We are not responsible for the consequences of decisions made in reliance on AI outputs (see the AI outputs notice).
- IS.TEAM LLC’s total liability arising out of this Agreement may not exceed the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in this Agreement serves as a basis for any provision that would limit your mandatory rights as a consumer under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502; your consumer rights are reserved.
Indemnity
You warrant that you hold all the rights and permissions needed for every kind of content, reference image, likeness and script you upload to the Service, and that they do not infringe the copyright, trademark, personality or personal-data rights of third parties.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IS.TEAM LLC against any claim, action or loss brought against IS.TEAM LLC arising from (i) your acting contrary to the Acceptable use rules, (ii) the content you upload or the film you produce infringing the rights of third parties (including unauthorised likeness, deepfake, or copyright or trademark infringement), or (iii) your use of the Service for an unlawful purpose. This obligation does not limit the legal rights you hold as a consumer.
Force majeure
Events beyond our control — such as natural disaster, war, epidemic, internet-infrastructure outage, failure of a third-party infrastructure or model provider (for example a data-centre or AI-provider outage), cyber-attack, an access block imposed by government decision, and the like — are deemed force majeure. In such cases we bear no liability for delay in or impossibility of performing our obligations; the Service is resumed as soon as possible once the situation ends.
Commercial electronic messages
Under Turkey’s Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and the Message Management System (IYS) rules, commercial electronic messages (campaigns, new-feature announcements, surveys) are sent only if you give your explicit consent.
- You can withdraw your consent at any time with a single click, from your account settings or via the “Opt out” link at the end of the message you receive.
- Transactional messages that are necessary to run the Service (sign-in / security notifications, subscription-renewal reminders, payment receipts) do not require separate consent under art. 6/3 of Law No. 6563.
Governing law and disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. However, consumers habitually resident in the Republic of Türkiye do not lose the rights arising from the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of their own country (in particular Law No. 6502).
- Consumers in Türkiye: within the monetary thresholds set in Law No. 6502 and the related communiqué, you may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees, and above those thresholds to the Consumer Courts, at your own place of residence. This jurisdiction is not affected by the choice of law in the Agreement.
- Merchants / legal entities (B2B): the state and federal courts of Delaware, United States have exclusive jurisdiction.
- Before taking legal action, we suggest you first try to resolve the dispute in good faith via support@runime.com.
Changes to these terms
We may update this Agreement from time to time. If we make a material change to your disadvantage, we will notify you 30 days before it takes effect, by email or by an in-Service notice; during that period you have the right to cancel your subscription. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the current Agreement.
