The basics

What is runime and what can it create?

runime is a story-to-film studio: you bring a script, a short story, or even a one-line idea, and it produces a complete animated film — from a quick short to a feature-length piece — handling scenes, characters, dialogue, and sound for you. Unlike clip generators, you don't stitch together 5-20 second shots yourself; you work at the level of the story and runime builds the film. It runs in AI mode (runime writes and directs) or Manual mode (you stay in control), and live-action support is on the way. It's an early beta, so expect rough edges as it keeps improving.

How is runime different from Runway, Sora, Kling, Pika, Veo, or LTX Studio — do I still need those?

Tools like Runway, Pika, Kling, Sora, and Google Veo are clip generators — they sell per-second or per-clip credits and leave you to prompt, direct, and edit short shots into something watchable. runime is narrative-first: screenplay in, finished film out, with the whole pipeline (scenes, characters, dialogue, audio) handled for you. It's also natively bilingual in Turkish and English for both the script and the voiceover, which the major Western tools don't offer, and it uses one transparent token wallet instead of confusing per-second credit math. For most projects you won't need those other tools alongside it.

What does it mean that runime is in "beta," and how do I get support?

runime is in early beta, which means it's fully usable but still evolving — you may hit occasional failures, slow renders, or quality that varies between generations, and some features (like live-action) are still rolling out. We're actively fixing issues and adding capabilities, and pricing or limits may change as the product matures. runime is operated by IS.TEAM LLC. Creating films

What do I need to provide — can I start from just an idea, or do I need a full screenplay?

You can start from as little as a one-line idea and let AI mode expand it into a screenplay, or you can bring a finished script and have runime shoot it more or less as written — the more detail you give, the more control you keep over the result. In Manual mode you steer each step yourself; in AI mode runime writes, casts, and directs, and you can still jump in to adjust. Scripts and ideas work in both Turkish and English. Because it's beta, very long or complex source material may need a few passes to get right.

What animation styles can I use, and how consistent are characters and scenes across the whole film?

runime is animation-first and lets you pick and lock a visual look so your film stays in one style from start to finish, with live-action support coming. It builds and reuses character and location references so the same faces, outfits, and settings carry across scenes — a real focus of the product. That said, generative models are probabilistic, so small differences between shots can appear; this is expected, and you can regenerate or fine-tune any scene that drifts. Consistency keeps improving as runime is still in beta.

What happens if a generation fails or I don't like a scene — are my tokens refunded, and can I redo just that scene?

If a generation genuinely fails for a technical reason, the tokens for it aren't kept — they go back to your wallet so you're not charged for something you didn't get. If a scene finishes but you simply don't like it, you can regenerate or edit that individual scene rather than redoing the whole film, though each new generation spends tokens again since it's real compute. Because outputs vary between runs, trying a couple of variations is normal and expected. Keeping an accessible free tier and a low entry price is partly so you can experiment without worry.

Plans & pricing

What is a token and how does the token wallet work?

Tokens are runime's single currency: one wallet that pays for every AI step — writing, images, video, and audio. How many a film uses depends on its length, the models and resolution involved, and how much you regenerate, so a short costs far fewer tokens than a feature. Rather than making you do per-second credit math like clip tools, runime shows the token cost as you go so you can estimate before you spend. Starter gives 70,000 tokens/month and Pro 240,000, and you can top up any time.

What's the difference between the Starter and Pro plans?

Starter is $19.99/month and includes 70,000 tokens — a good fit for shorts, experiments, and getting a feel for the pipeline. Pro is $59.99/month with 240,000 tokens, aimed at longer or more frequent projects; it's the better value per token and suits feature-length work or regular production. Both draw from the same token wallet, and you can add top-up packs on either plan. New users can also try runime free on the free tier before subscribing.

Do my monthly subscription tokens roll over, or do they expire at the end of the billing cycle?

Your monthly subscription tokens refresh at the start of each billing cycle, so they're meant to be used within the month rather than stockpiled indefinitely. Top-up tokens you buy separately behave differently — they don't expire and stay in your wallet until you use them. Both types are spent together automatically, so you always draw down the right balance without thinking about it. Since runime is in beta, we'll always make these rules clear in your account, and we lean toward being fairer than the non-rollover per-second systems rivals use.

How do top-up token packs work — how much are they, do they expire, and do they stack with my plan?

If you run low, one-time top-up packs add tokens without changing your plan: Small is $9.99 for 30,000 tokens, Medium $24.99 for 90,000, and Large $59.99 for 250,000. Top-up tokens don't expire and stack on top of your subscription balance, so nothing is wasted. They're available whether you're on Starter, Pro, or just trying things out. It's the same transparent per-token pricing as the plans, with no per-second surprises.

What does the free tier include, and how do I use the LAUNCH40 code?

You can try runime for free: the free tier lets you create one scenario — a full screenplay — so you can see how the story-to-film flow works before paying. When you're ready to subscribe or top up, the launch code LAUNCH40 takes 40% off your first payment; it applies once, to that first charge, not to later renewals. Just enter LAUNCH40 at checkout. It's a good way to start a short or a feature at a lower entry cost while runime is in beta.

Output & downloads

How long can films be, what resolution do they come out at, and do they include audio?

runime makes both short films and feature-length pieces, and a finished film comes complete with dialogue, voiceover, music, and sound effects — not just silent clips. Films render at 720p, and you can download higher-quality versions through paid AI-upscale tiers at 1080p or 4K, with options like a cinematic grade and 60fps. Generation time varies: a short can be ready fairly quickly, while a feature runs much longer and renders in the background so you don't have to wait on screen. Because it's beta, longer films take real time and may need a few adjustments.

Which languages are supported for the script and the film's voiceover, and can I mix them?

runime is natively bilingual in Turkish and English for both the input and the output: you can write your script or idea in either language, and the finished film's dialogue and voiceover can be in either language too. You can even mix the two within a single project when the story calls for it. This is a core differentiator — the major Western tools are English-centric and don't offer real Turkish voiceover. More languages may follow as runime grows.

Account & data

How does billing work — payment methods, taxes, cancelling, and refunds?

Payments are handled securely through Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record — you can pay with the cards Stripe supports, and any applicable taxes or VAT are shown at checkout. Subscriptions are billed monthly and you can cancel anytime from your account; cancelling stops future charges and you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for. Because runime is a consumable, generation-based service in beta, refunds are generally limited to unused amounts and handled case by case — reach out to support@runime.com if something went wrong. We'll always aim to be fair while the product is still early.

Rights & legal

Who owns the finished film, and can I publish, monetize, or sell it?

The films you create with runime are yours to use — you can publish, share, and monetize them, including on YouTube, in ads, or for client work, under the license granted in runime's Terms. One nuance worth knowing: in some jurisdictions (such as the US) purely AI-generated output may not be independently copyrightable, but your right to use and monetize what you make comes from those Terms, not from copyright registration. This isn't legal advice, so for high-stakes commercial use it's wise to check your local rules. Content you make must still follow runime's content rules.

What content isn't allowed, and are my scripts and films kept private or used to train models?

runime can't be used for illegal or harmful content, sexually explicit (NSFW) material, the likeness of real people or celebrities, or copyrighted characters and IP you don't have the rights to — generations that break these rules may be blocked or removed, and moderation is still being tuned in beta. On privacy, your scripts and finished films are private to your account by default; runime doesn't sell or publish them, and we don't use your private content to train public foundation models. We may process your content only as needed to run and improve the service, and the underlying model providers handle generations under their own policies. Questions about your data or a moderation decision can go to support@runime.com.
