Scope
This policy covers every output produced by the runime service operated by IS.TEAM LLC: videos generated from a script, scene images, character/asset designs, and audio content (dialogue voice-over, music, sound effects). Depending on the inputs, AI generation can produce outputs that affect the rights of third parties; for that reason we give rights holders and people whose likeness is used a clear channel to notify us.
Through this channel we review the following kinds of notices:
- Copyright infringement — reproducing, or creating a derivative of, a copyrighted character, drawing/design style, screenplay, or musical or audio work without your permission.
- Trademark / trade identity — unauthorized use of your registered trademark, logo, product packaging or distinctive trade dress.
- Celebrity or real-person likeness— generating a person’s face, voice, mannerisms or recognizable appearance without their consent.
- Unauthorized deepfakes — likeness/voice-imitation content that shows a real person saying words they never said or doing things they never did.
To have us review your notice you only need to reach out; you do not have to have generated the content yourself. It is enough that you are the rights holder, or the person whose likeness is used, or an authorized representative of either.
How do I file a notice?
Send your notice to support@runime.com with “Copyright/Likeness notice” in the subject line. To speed up review and constitute a valid notice, please include:
- The location or description of the content — the link (URL) to the video/image/audio in question, the share or project ID, or a description that clearly identifies the content; a screenshot if possible.
- The right you believe is infringed — which work, brand or person is involved, and a short explanation of why the use is unauthorized.
- Proof of ownership or identity— information or documents showing that you are the rights holder or are authorized to represent the rights holder/person (for example, the original work or file, a registration record, or the licensing chain; for likeness notices, information that verifies the person’s identity).
- Your contact details — a name, an email and, if available, a phone number so we can get back to you.
- A good-faith statement — a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
This channel is operated in line with the notice procedure under the U.S. DMCA(Digital Millennium Copyright Act) and the “notice-and-takedown” framework under Law No. 5651 in Turkey. If your notice is incomplete, we may ask you for additional information so we can handle it correctly.
Our takedown commitment
When we receive a valid notice containing sufficient information, we remove the content within 24–48 hours from both the presentation layer (sharing, preview, player) and our storage systems, and we inform the party who filed the notice. For unauthorized likeness or deepfake notices we try to shorten this window as much as possible.
Removal does not constitute an admission of any claim or liability; it is a good-faith precautionary measureto protect rights holders and individuals. Where necessary, we notify the user who generated the content and may take further steps to protect the parties’ rights.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification — for example, because you hold the rights, have a valid license, or the use is otherwise lawful — you may send us a counter-notice at support@runime.com. A valid counter-notice should:
- identify the removed content and where it previously appeared;
- explain why you believe it was removed in error;
- include your name, email and, if available, phone number; and
- contain a good-faith statement that you consent to the applicable legal process for resolving the dispute.
Where the law provides for it (including under DMCA §512(g)), we may forward your counter-notice to the party who filed the original notice and restore the content if that party does not pursue the matter further within the period required by law.
Repeat-infringer policy
In appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, we suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyright, trademark or personality rights of others, consistent with the DMCA’s repeat-infringer requirements. Generating unauthorized likeness or deepfake content is treated as a serious violation and may lead to account suspension even on a first instance.
False or bad-faith notices
We expect you to use this channel honestly. All legal responsibility arising from a misleading, baseless or bad-faithnotice rests with the person who filed it. Falsely claiming that a work or likeness belonging to someone else is yours, trying to have a competitor’s content wrongfully removed, or making a good-faith statement that is untrue can result in liability for damages and, depending on the applicable law, criminal consequences.
We reserve the right to disregard notices we determine to be a clear abuse of the channel and to restrict access to the channel in cases of repeated abuse.
