runime opens in your browser's language
When you first visit, runime reads the language preference your browser sends and shows the whole site in that language. If your browser is set to Turkish, you land on a Turkish interface; if it's set to English (or any language we don't yet support), you get English.
This happens on the server before the page is drawn, so the correct language is there from the very first moment — there's no flash of the wrong language and nothing to click.
Switching the language yourself
You're not locked into your browser's choice. In the top bar there's a small language button (the "languages" icon). Tap it and a "Select language" panel opens listing English and Türkçe, with a check next to the one you're using. Pick the other and the interface updates right away — no full page reload.
Your choice is remembered for future visits and takes priority over your browser's setting, so once you've picked a language runime keeps using it until you change it again.
Generating dialogue in your language
The dialogue language is separate from the interface language — it's about the words your characters actually speak on screen. By default it's set to Auto, which means runime follows the language you write your idea or script in. Write your idea in Turkish and the screenplay and spoken lines come out in Turkish; write it in English and you get English. The generated character voices are matched to that same language, so the delivery sounds natural.
Because detection follows your own text, you can even mix languages across projects — some films in Turkish, others in English — without changing any global setting.
What's translated
Language support isn't just the home screen. Menus, buttons, the creation options, legal pages, the changelog and even each page's title and description are all provided in both English and Turkish, so the experience stays consistent as you move around the app.
We currently ship two languages, English and Turkish, and English is the safe fallback whenever your browser asks for something we don't support yet. More languages can be added over time.
