Cast and Locations: The Entity Drawer

The entity drawer on the left side of the editor is home to your film's building blocks: characters, locations and assets (objects) live here. Every frame of your film is drawn from the references kept here — if a character's face, a location's light or an object's color stays consistent from scene to scene, this drawer is the reason. While the screenplay is being written, the cast appears here on its own; you can also add your own items, generate hero images, browse takes, clone a voice for your character, and even convert an item into a 3D model and capture frames from any angle. This article walks through every control in the drawer, in the order you'll meet them.

Getting around the drawer

A thin vertical icon rail sits on the left edge of the drawer. This is where you pick which list to look at; switching tabs keeps the lists and any running jobs in place.

  • Karakterler (characters) / Mekanlar (locations) / Varlıklar (assets) — switches between the three entity lists. The active tab is highlighted in orange.
  • AI'a danış (ask the AI) — the fourth icon on the rail (only while a project is open). Opens the Fixer AI chat tab; if a reply is streaming while you're on another tab, the icon turns into a spinner with an unread-count (+n) badge.
  • Ara (search) — the magnifier in the list header (only shown with more than 10 items). Turns the row into a "search by name" box; it filters ignoring Turkish accent differences (typing serce finds Serçe), and shows the match count as x/y. Escape or ✕ (Aramayı kapat, close search) clears it. The filter only narrows the view — bulk generation always runs over the whole list. With no matches you'll see "Eşleşen bir şey yok." (nothing matches).
  • Henüz bir şey yok. İlkini oluşturun. (nothing here yet — create the first one) — the empty state, with a button that opens the creation modal directly.
The card grid on the characters tab: each card carries a status badge top-left; hovering reveals the pencil and trash icons.

Cards and their badges

Each item is a card. The small marks on a card tell you its current state.

  • Önizle (preview) — a magnifier circle that appears over the image on hover; opens the hero image full-size in a lightbox without opening the card.
  • Üretiliyor… (generating) — top-left badge: a render is running for this item. It stays on the card even if you minimize the board window, and drops off by itself when the job finishes.
  • Tasarlanıyor… (being designed) — a spinner in the middle of the card: the AI designer is filling in this item's fields; the card can't be edited or deleted meanwhile.
  • Dış ses (voice-over) — the blue top-left badge on a voice-only character card: this character only speaks, no image is ever generated for it.
  • Completion badge (✓ or n/m) — top-left on cards that have an image: for characters and assets it shows whether the board is ready (1/1); for locations, how many views have been generated. All done means a green ✓.
  • Henüz görsel üretilmedi (no image generated yet) — the placeholder on an image-less card. Generation starts from the board opened with the pencil; clicking the card itself does nothing.
  • Düzenle (edit — pencil) — top-right on hover; opens the item's full-screen board modal.
  • Sil (delete — trash) — deletes the item. If it has a generated image, a confirmation asks first: "this item will be permanently deleted, continue?"; with no image it deletes immediately. If the item is used in a generated video, the button is disabled: "used in a generated video — delete that frame first."

Creating a new item

During script writing the cast appears on its own, but you can always add your own item.

  • Karakter tasarla (design a character) / Mekan tasarla (design a location) / Varlık tasarla (design an asset) — the + icon in the list header (or the button in the empty state). Opens the creation modal; disabled while the screenplay is being written.
  • İsim (name) — the item's name. On the board it saves with a short delay as you type; read-only when the item is locked.
  • Kapsamlı prompt (detailed prompt) — the full description the design is generated from. If you attach an image in the modal, this field is hidden — the image drives the design instead.
  • Görselden oluştur (create from an image) — below the prompt field; opens the crop dialog for your own photo. The cropped image attaches to the draft (small preview, removable with ✕).
  • Tasarla (design) — the confirm button; creates the item, disabled while the name is empty. An estimated cost sits above the button: design alone is about 300 tokens, and creating with an image adds the hero price (prefixed "en az", at least, for characters). The button spins until the new card lands in the list. The AI fills in the parameters first; if you attached an image, the hero is generated in the same flow.

Starting from your own image: the crop dialog

Both Görselden oluştur (create from an image) in the creation modal and Görselden üret (generate from an image) on the board use the same crop dialog.

  • Görsel seç (choose an image) — opens the file picker. The criteria text at the top explains what works: the subject should be sharp, alone and on a clean background — the AI will recreate it in your film's style.
  • Crop box — "drag to frame the subject; move the box or resize from the corners." Cropping happens on your device and the image is downscaled to 1536px before upload; if you make no selection, the whole image is used.
  • Kısa detay (opsiyonel) (short note, optional) — a hint for the AI (e.g. "an old blacksmith in a red jacket"); considered during analysis and redrawing.
  • Bu görsel zaten hazır — bozmadan kullan (this image is already final — use without altering) — a checkbox (worded "use as is" for locations). It turns restyling off: for characters and assets the subject is placed on a clean studio background unchanged; for locations the image becomes the scene plate directly. If you upload a ready-made turnaround sheet, the server also adopts it as the character board.
  • Oluştur / Tamam (create / done) — submits the crop (Oluştur from the board, Tamam from the creation modal). While generation runs the dialog can't be closed (✕ hidden, Vazgeç disabled); on error it stays open so you can retry. If the file is too big: "image too large — try a smaller file or crop a tighter area."

The board modal and the hero image

Pressing a card's pencil opens the near-full-screen Karakter Board / Mekan Board / Varlık Board (character/location/asset board) modal. Clicking outside doesn't close it. While generation runs, the title shows a "generating in the background" badge and the close button becomes Küçült (minimize) — the job keeps running and you can follow it from the card. At the top of the left column, the Ana görsel (hero image) / 3D model tabs are two views of the same design (the tab bar is hidden on a locked item with no 3D model).

Quick tools sit on the hero image's corners:

  • İndir (download) / Önizle (preview) — saves the hero as a file / opens it full-size. Bottom-left, the model that generated it shows as a badge.
  • Üretim (generation) — the bottom-right menu, the single entry point for all generation actions (when not locked). While a job runs it becomes a "generating…" indicator and the menu closes.

The generation menu's items, each with its price alongside:

  • Ana görseli üret / Ana görseli yeniden üret / Karakteri yeniden çiz (generate / regenerate the hero / redraw the character) — generates the hero (together with the board for characters). The first generation stays disabled until all design fields are filled; regenerating over an existing image asks "regenerate? this image will be regenerated and tokens will be spent." Character prices are prefixed "en az" (at least), and "yaklaşık" (approx.) when the model is set to Auto. Success brings a balloon animation and a completion sound.
  • Board oluştur (create board) — only for characters without a board (and not collectives): draws the turnaround board from the existing hero. It's the repair path for uploaded or legacy characters; it doesn't reinvent the design. Disabled without a hero.
  • Görünümleri ana görsele eşitle (sync views to the hero) — for locations and assets, with the job count alongside: generates missing views and refreshes "outdated" ones made from an older hero. If stale views exist, the icon turns into a yellow warning.
  • Görselden üret (generate from an image) — opens the crop dialog: the photo is analyzed, the hero rebuilt in the film's style, and for characters the board is redrawn too. The price is prefixed "yaklaşık" (analysis + two renders).
  • Prompt ile düzenle (edit with a prompt) — only when a hero exists: opens the edit dialog that changes the current image by description while preserving its pixels.
  • Görsel modeli (image model) — a submenu: picks the image engine for this board's generations. Each row shows a consistency star rating, version, missing-capability notes and unit price ("… / image", "variable" on Auto); selecting doesn't close the menu.

Views and the board can't be generated without a hero; the Önce ana görseli üret (generate the hero first) line under the hero area reminds you of the order.

Editing with a prompt (i2i)

Prompt ile düzenle (edit with a prompt) applies only the change you ask for, without breaking the existing image: the remaining pixels are preserved.

  • In the small modal you write your change (e.g. "make the jacket red, add a scar to his face") and submit with Uygula (apply); Ctrl/Cmd+Enter also submits.
  • Below, you can attach up to 3 reference images — file picker, paste, or drag-and-drop ("this should be her bag"). References define appearance only.
  • If the AI can't tell what should change, it doesn't generate; it shows you its own question instead, and no money is spent.
  • For characters, the edit is also carried into the board (a second render) — the displayed price includes it.

Take history: reverting is free

Every generation is kept as a take; nothing is lost.

  • Take strip ("Deneme n · Etkin" — take n · active) — once more than one take exists, small tiles line up under the hero. Clicking an older take is free and reverts to that image; for characters the matching board reverts with it. A spinner shows on the tile while it switches. Reverting is unavailable while the item is locked.
  • Take ✕ ("Bu deneme silinsin mi?" — delete this take?) — the ✕ on hover permanently deletes an unused take from history after confirmation; this stays allowed even on locked items. The server always refuses two cases: the active take ("this is the active take — switch to another one first") and a take used in the film ("a frame carries it — cannot be deleted").

Design fields: metadata and color palette

The board's left column carries the design parameters; the right column holds the Kapsamlı prompt (detailed prompt).

  • Metadata fields — two columns of inputs that vary by type: Age, Height, Hair… for characters; Type, Era, Architecture… for locations; Purpose, Size… for assets. The first hero generation won't start until all of them are filled. They save with a delay as you type; read-only when locked.
  • Color palette — clicking a swatch opens the native color picker; ✕ (Kaldır, remove) deletes a color, + (Renk ekle, add color) adds one (up to 12). View-only when locked.
  • "Senaryo yazılıyor — bu alanlar düzenlenemez" (script being written — these fields can't be edited) — the lock notice at the top of the right column while the pipeline runs: the AI is filling in the cast right now, and anything you typed would be overwritten in a moment, so all fields are temporarily locked.

The character board (model sheet) and character types

For characters and assets, a single wide turnaround sheet is generated in the right column: front, 3/4, side and back views, plus expressions and accessory details. Every frame of the film is drawn from this reference — hair looking right in an over-the-shoulder shot depends on this sheet.

  • Character board panel — clicking the image opens it full-size (Tam boyut, full size); Board'u yeniden çiz (redraw the board) regenerates it from the hero. If the board drifts out of sync with the hero, an "outdated" warning appears — nothing changes on its own, refreshing is left to you. For collective characters, an explanation text stands in for the panel.
  • Dış ses (görsel üretilmez) (voice-over — no image generated) / Görselli karaktere çevir (convert to a visual character) — the blue notice and button in the character board's right column. It turns the character into a voice-only narrator: all image generation is switched off and the character is excluded from bulk generation. The flag can only be turned on while no image has been generated yet; turning it off is always allowed.
  • Kolektif işaretle (mark as collective) / Tek kişi yap (make individual) — the "is this a crowd?" row. Declares the character a crowd (group) or reverts it: a collective has no board and no 3D model, and its look is rebuilt in every shot. Can't be changed while locked.

A character's importance in the film (lead, supporting, extra) is not a switch in the drawer — the pipeline computes it itself. Its one visible effect: once the lead character's hero image is ready, the film's cover is generated automatically with that character.

Location and asset views

Locations have view cells instead of a single turnaround: tiles grouped into panels by what scenes need. For an exterior these are time-of-day and weather views; an interior changes with light rather than sky, so it gets a "Lighting" panel (daylight, lamp-night, dark) and no sky views. You don't toggle this by hand — the design pipeline decides whether a location is interior or exterior, and you see the effect in which view set the board offers.

  • View cell — hovering an empty cell reveals Üret (generate — paid) and Görsel yükle (upload an image — free, your own picture goes in as-is); a filled cell offers İndir (download), Önizle (preview), Yeniden üret (regenerate — asks for token confirmation) and Görsel yükle. ✕ removes the view from the board — with a "remove this view?" confirmation if it was generated; a custom view is deleted permanently along with its definition. Cells generated from an older hero carry an "outdated" badge. Each cell has its own take strip: free revert and ✕ deletion work by the same rules.
  • Görünüm ekle (add a view) — on the first panel's header row of location and asset boards; restores removed or skipped preset views and offers Özel görünüm ekle (add a custom view). New views can be added even on a locked item — an empty slot can't break generated frames. Characters deliberately don't get this menu: a custom view would never enter any reference flow and would conflict with the single-sheet turnaround.
  • Custom view dialog — you enter a view name (e.g. "the courtyard at night") and a "what should be visible?" description, or provide a ready image via Görsel yükle (then no description is needed); Ekle (add) places the view on the board as an empty or filled cell.
  • "You can't continue the project until all views here are generated…" — the yellow warning shown while views are missing: a reminder of the completion gate. You can also proceed without generating by removing views you don't need.

3D model: a solid reference and free angle capture

The 3D model tab on the board converts the approved hero into a rotatable solid 3D model — after which you capture frames from any angle for free.

  • Model oluştur (create a model) — in the middle of the empty square area, offering two paths: GLB yükle (upload a GLB — your own 3D file, .glb, 48MB max) or Ana görselden üret (generate from the hero — disabled with a "generate the hero first" note if there's no hero; fully disabled for collectives).
  • "Convert to 3D?" confirmation — the one-time fee is stated plainly (6,000 tokens) along with the fact that every angle capture afterwards is free. If the character has no board yet, it adds a tip: generating the board first makes the conversion multi-view, noticeably improving hair and back details. The job runs in the background ("this can take a few minutes") and its indicator survives page reloads.
  • 3D viewer + info (i) — rotate the model with the mouse, zoom toward the cursor with the wheel, pan with right-click (the tips live behind the i button). If the hero changed after conversion, an "Eski" (old) badge appears top-left — reconverting is left to you.
  • Ana görsel yap (make this the hero) — takes the viewer's current frame as-is and makes it the hero (a free capture), returning to the hero tab; the character board is then marked outdated.
  • Ana görselden üret (regenerate from the hero — the loop icon) — produces a new 3D model from the current hero, again through the paid confirmation dialog. Disabled without a hero or for collectives.
  • Dışa aktar (export) — the format menu downloads GLB (textured, the web/game standard), FBX (only if the provider produced one; Maya/Unreal), OBJ (geometry only) and STL (3D printing); OBJ and STL are written instantly from the viewer's mesh.
  • GLB yükle (upload a GLB) — makes your own .glb this item's 3D model (48MB max); an invalid file shows "invalid file — you can upload a .glb of at most 48MB." An uploaded mesh can become the film's reference by generating the board from the model.
  • Bu açıyı kaydet (save this angle) — the bottom-right menu; captured angles are free. For characters, "create the character board from the model" automatically shoots the four canonical angles and composes them into the board; for characters and assets an angle can be saved into any board view slot; everyone gets "download as PNG". On locked items, writing to the board is disabled but PNG stays available; locations get PNG only.

Bulk generation

With a big cast, instead of filling gaps one by one you use the layers icon in the list header.

  • Toplu üret (bulk generate) — opens a two-item menu: "bulk generate characters/locations/assets" (missing hero images; with count and total price) and "bulk generate variations" or, for characters/assets, "generate missing character boards" (again with count and total price). If any hero is missing, the variations item is disabled with a "complete the missing heroes first" note. With nothing to do, the button is disabled and reads "all done"; while a run is active it becomes a spinner, and clicking reopens the progress modal.
  • Progress modal — a mode chip ("heroes" / "character boards" / "variations"), progress bar, counter and a running time estimate; below, three live tiles for "last generated / generating now / up next" (clicking a finished tile opens a full-size preview). Durdur (stop) cancels the run; closing the modal only minimizes it — generation continues in the background. If some items failed at the end, a yellow "n couldn't be generated — retry" state is shown; Kapat (close) clears a finished run.

During bulk runs, failed jobs retry automatically up to 3 rounds, a wake lock keeps the screen from sleeping, and an already-existing image is never regenerated and billed twice.

Locks: render lock and pipeline lock

You'll see two kinds of lock in the drawer; both exist to protect consistency.

  • "This item was used in a frame … locked" — the yellow notice in the board's right column. The moment an item is used in a generated frame, its established look freezes: fields become read-only, existing images can't be regenerated, and take revert closes. But filling empty slots, adding new views or variations, and deleting unused takes stay allowed — an empty slot or an unused take can't break generated frames. For the same reason, the card's Sil button is also disabled on a locked item.
  • Pipeline lock — while the screenplay is being written, the board is entirely read-only; the note in the right column explains why: anything you typed would soon be overwritten by the AI. The Karakter tasarla button is disabled during script writing for the same reason.

When collaborating, a 409 response shows as a notice that "another tab or teammate is generating the same thing"; requests that hit the concurrency ceiling silently wait and retry — the spinner doesn't go out.

Costs and things to watch

Every paid action in the drawer shows its price before you click: dollar amounts sit next to the generation menu items, the Tasarla button and the Toplu üret menu entries.

  • AI design (creating an item) is about 300 tokens. Görselden üret is priced "approx." as analysis + two renders; Prompt ile düzenle is one i2i render, billed together with the board sync for characters. Because a character's hero is generated together with its board, its price is prefixed "en az" (at least) — or "yaklaşık" (approx.) when the model is set to Auto.
  • 3D conversion is a one-time 6,000 tokens; every angle capture afterwards is free.
  • Free actions: reverting to a take, uploading your own image into a view cell, 3D angle capture, generating the board from the model, PNG download, Ana görsel yap and GLB upload/download. Voice cloning carries no price tag in the UI.
  • If the AI can't tell what a prompt edit should change, no render is spent — it shows you its own question instead.
  • If your balance runs out, generation won't start and the top-up window opens on its own.
  • Regeneration always asks for confirmation ("…tokens will be spent") — no image is ever silently redrawn, and nothing marked outdated is refreshed without you asking.
